Bullet Model of Year-1891 (Pulya obrazets 1891-godina). Jaeger-type (round-nosed) cupro-nickel Full Metal Jacketed 211-grain [13.73 gram] lead core bullet with a brass case. Used from 1891 to 1910.
LP o 1908g (57-N-321)
Light Bullet Model of Year-1908 (Lyokhkaya Pulya obrazets 1908-godina). Spitzer-type (pointed-nose) tombak Full Metal Jacketed 148-grain [9.6 gram] lead core bullet with a brass case. Standard loading for the M91 Mosin-Nagant Rifle. Used from 1910 to 1954.

“Type L” Light Bullet (Lyokhkaya = “Light”). A 148-grain [9.6 gram] Full Metal Jacket lead core bullet with a brass case. Standard loading for use in the shorter-barrreled M91/30 Mosin-Nagant carbine. Used from 1930 to 1954.

"Type D" Heavy Bullet (Dal'noboinaya = “Long Range”). A 182-grain [11.8 gram] Ball round with a brass case. Standard loading for the PM-10 Maxim heavy machinegun (Pulemyot Maxima). It was designed for long-range indirect fire out to 4,500-5,000 meters, a tactic replaced by mortar and artillery fire during the Great War. Used from 1930 to 1978. Had a yellow tip.
D (57-D-423)
"Type D" Heavy Bullet (Dal'noboinaya = “Long Range”). A 182-grain [11.8 gram] Ball round with a bi-metallic case. Standard loading for the PM-10 Maxim heavy machinegun (Pulemyot Maxima). LPS gzh (57-N-323S)
Conventional Semi-Armor-Piercing round with a Light Steel-core Bullet (Lyokhkaya Pulya Stal’noi) and a bi-metallic case. Used from 1953 to 1991. Can penetrate the 6Zh85T body armour at 110m. Had a silver tip from 1953 to 1978 and a plain tip afterwards.

A 152-grain [9.85 gram] Sniper (Sn > Snaiperskie) cartridge with a Match-Grade steel-core bullet (Pulya Stal'noi) with a bi-metallic case. It was designed for use with the SVD sniper rifle. It was used from 1967 to 1999. The word "sniper" is written in a repeating pattern across the packet wrapping paper to prevent its misuse.
"Enhanced Penetration" (PP > Povishennaya Probivaemost) bullet with a bi-metallic case.
