Dosztál Bela (Komárom, Slovakia, 13 April 1923-5 March 2013 Szekesfehervar) Hungarian economist and revolutionary, was one of the leading personalities in the revolution of 1956 in Székesfehérvár.

He was born on April 13, 1923 in Komárno (then Czechoslovakia, now Slovakia), on the northern shore of the Danube. He spent his youth in Czechoslovakia and went to the University of Economics. In September 1948 he moved to Hungary under the Czechoslovak-Hungarian population exchange. Due to his political orientation, however, he was first interned at Kistarcsa and then at the Recherche Labor Camp at the beginning of the 1950s. After his resignation he worked at MÉH, at the Cinematographic Company and then at the Székesfehérvár Catering Company.

The County Court of Székesfehérvár sentenced him to imprisonment for one and a half years on the basis of accusations made in 1955 on the basis of an indictment for the violation of social property. The punishment was reduced in March 1956. He then worked at the Székesfehérvár Retail Company.

On October 27, 1956, he joined the 1956 revolutionary events unfolding in Szekesfehervar. He was elected as a member of the preparatory committee and then elected as the secretary of the National Committee of Székesfehérvár. In his office he co-ordinated the decisions of the commission with various revolutionary organizations and participated in the drafting of claims to the government. On October 30, he was a delegate of the National Committee of the Székesfehérvár delegation in Transdanubia's committees in Győr.

After the fall of the Revolution, he was arrested on January 11, 1957. From April 5, he was placed under public security custody and sent to the internally displaced camp. On July 10, 1958, the Tribunal Council of the Pest County Court sentenced him to 12 years of imprisonment, which was aggravated by the Supreme Court's National Council of Judges on January 23, 1959, for fifteen years. He was released from punishment on 11 November 1964 with grace.

He then worked at the Water Directorate of Székesfehérvár and then at the Technical Company of the Cooperative. Retired in 1985. After the change of regime, he received several high honors. Székesfehérvár and Fejér counties have also chosen to be Déjs polgára. He died on March 5, 2013 at the age of 90.
