Overview

Fenny Compton railway station was a railway station serving Fenny Compton in Warwickshire, England, that was closed during the Beaching Cuts.

History

GWR

Fenny Compton Railway Station opened in 1852 with trains going to and from Banbury to Birmingham. By 1889 it was finally laid to standard gauge.

Life today

A small section of of the Stratford-upon-Avon line remains as a freight branch line leading to the MoD Kineton Military Railway in southern Warwickshire.
