Imre Kovács ( Monor, October 13, 1929 - Budapest, October 7, 1958) caretaker.
After October 28, 1956 he entered the VII. District Guard, where he worked as a patrol. He also participated in the siege of the Republic Square party house and in the arrest of state defense subordinates. With the rest of his group, he disarmed the guard of the Eötvös Street Warehouse, where he managed to gain more weapons. He got information about the hiding of ÁHVs in the center of Akácfa Street, the capital city of Budapest, so he directed an attack on the center. Even after the Soviet invasion of 4 November, he continued to be active, and then, after the revolution of the revolution, began to flypost leaflets. Even though he defended a party functionary, he was executed on October 7, 1958, because of his leadership of an organisation.
