Khalifa Haftar

Khalifa Belqasim Haftar  (1943) is a Libyan-American military officer and the head of the Libyan National Army (LNA), currently engaged in the Second Libyan Civil War. On 2 March 2015, he was appointed commander of the armed forces loyal to the elected legislative body, the Libyan House of Representatives.
