Laszlo Debreczeni (Kaposvár May 10, 1934) doctor USA, 1956 freedom fighter.

He graduated from the Great Lajos Grammar School. As a fifth year student of the POTE (Pécs University of Medicine), on October 22, 1956, he was elected President of the Student Parliament and became a member of the Medical Battalion. He was arrested, interned in March 1957 and sentenced to three years and six months in 1958. In 1959 he was released with amnesty.

After his release he worked as an assistant worker, as an interpreter, as a research assistant. In 1964 he completed his studies at the University of Pécs (POTE). Then he was in Komló, where he worked as an occupational physician and a mining physician. He is an occupational physician at the Mecsek Coal Mining Trust (1964-1986), and from 1987 he is an occupational physician at the Mecsek Orescut Company. After the change of regime, the Chief Medical Officer of ÁNTSZ, was deputy head of the Baranya County Institute from 1992 until his retirement until 2002. Between 1990 and 1994, the Municipal Representative of the Pécs County Council (KDNP). As a invited lecturer, he presented a medical history and public health at the Department of Health Sciences at Pécs University of Pécs (PTE).
