Overview

Liberia is a struggling West African nation. The Port of Monrovia became a free port under President Tubman to encourage overseas trade. Monrovia has a tropical monsoon climate (Am) and is the wettest capital city in the world due to an average rainfall of 4,624 mm (182.0 in). It is a member of ECOWAS.
