The show 

The concept

Cyberchase Galactica was a late 22nd and early 23rd century educational/entertainment online streaming show by PBS Kids, loosely based on the format of already existing PBS Kids show, Cyberchase. It was meant to be at times a humorous or serious production, as well as a morally lesson and historically accurate one that reflected student life in 21st century in California after the 20 year Japanese occupation. The viewership age range was given as susceptible for 10 to 15 year olds.

The classic Cyberchase show had Followed the legendary and awesome adventures of three extraordinary school kids, collectively called The CyberSquad. Matt was the leader, Jackie was the CyberSquad's resident fashion guru and Inez came along with a lot of erudite questions in her mind.

After a long and active career, they had sent there kids on a similar mission in Ontario during the 2030s. They had retired and had their children in Seattle, who then went on similar mission on Mars in the 2060s. Finally, they also had had retired in New Tacoma on Mars. A after their kids died at school of Covid-19 had there dead children's' DNA sent sleekly by a computer geek back to earth in a smuggled back Bhutanese organic neural net compatible computer memory stick in 2095. When they emerged from the L.A. library computer food replicator unit 2 years later after a Neo-Soviet agent had put the memory stick in, they would find the world has become a sinister Sino-Japanese dominated hell!

America violently annexed the pirate and warlord infested hell that was 2070s Haiti between 2977 and 2078.

New England and Harrisburg in Pennsylvania had declared UDI in 2087 due to a lack of regional autonomy and the aftermath of the Chinese attack on Guam in 2078, but was turned in to a de facto vassal of Canada, Quebec, France, Portugal, Switzerland and Peru after Pennsylvania Balkanised after by 2097.

Bushido code was all the rage in Japan and it's recently taken colonies of Taiwan and Wake Atoll. The USA had been shafted at the Battle of Stika by the Sino-Russian fleet in 2075, but was till able to put up a fight when it came to the defence of Juno and Prudho Bay against a Sino-Japanese invasion in 2087. Both Colombia and the Bahamas were fiercely loyal to the USA. The USA is one of the few democracies i the Americs..

The USA, Panama, Bahamas, Jamaica and Colombia were also triumphant over the Neo-Soviets in the 2088 battels to save Prudhoe Bay, Icy Bay, Yakutat, Anchorage, Valdez and Skagway. The University of Alaska Fairbanks, Fort Wainwright and Eielson Air Force Base and Valdez oil terminal were each hit by 2 Neo-Soviet 1kt suitcase each in 2092. Seeing what was going on Canada invaded and annexed as much of Alaska soon afterwards, outside of the nuked and neo-Soviet occupied parts, so it could to keep the Neo-Soviet (AKA-communist Russians and communist Belarussians), Chinese and Japanese as far away from the Yukon's border and the Whitehorse satellite launch facility as possible!

A short campaign occurred in 2094 when Canada, Mexico and Japan stole the toxic computer cookies and took the embattled land south of Vancouver, the land south of British Colombia, a zone along the US-Mexican and in central California in rival campaigns with out much of a fight from the terrified local Americans. Russia had annexed the Aleutian Islands in 2094 and and Nome, Alaska in 2095. China had only just retaken Guam in 2095 after one of the most brutal and costly battles in human history to that date.

  4. Susan (originally Steve) Smith was a struggling transsexual that came in to Sacramento from Berkeley.

  6. Anna Macaulay was an un-assimilated American from Reno. Her story-lines warn of the social tensions between those who live in and outside of the occupation zone.
  7. Sheila's depressive and defeatist school mate, Hiroko Anderson.
  8. Kiki Hakkenen was the child of 2 Finnish tourists who got trapped in Sacramento during the invasion.
  9. Rachel Burns was an adopted Australian orphan and Kiki's friend.
  10. Sacramento's Mayor Jane Morrison has to keep a fine line between local liberal ideas and a bullying Prefect.
  11. Mayor Morrison daughter, Leah, was a covert D.R.M. movement member and computer hacker. She was regularly beaten up by Japanese and Russian cops.
  12. Sacrimento's mayor Jane Morrison has to keep a fine line between local liberal ideas and a bullying Prefect.
  13. The computer geek and D.R.M. operative Kate Black was a major source of trouble for all the cast until she was executed in Santa Barbra by the Japanese.

  15. Sorsha's daughter, Elle O'Conner had been expelled from primary school due to her A.D.H.D. He stories covered child-hood mental illness issues.
  16. Sally Roads was Pinhead High School's stressed-out councillor. She was trying to balance the genuine need for school care, real psychology, treating student P.T.S.S. and the Japanese empire's political brainwashing.
  17. Kelly Saddler was orphaned on her 10th birthday and reluctantly put up for sail at the local labour by her bankrupt granny. Sheila's family bought her for a modest sum and adopted her.
  18. Shauna O'Conner was a unloved I.T. teacher at Pinhead High School. She was caught between here job and political taboos. She was yet another person with a job-morality-politics conflict ruing her life.
  19. Susan's fashion conscious daughter, Marsha was addicted to hair-dyeing, trendy clothes and dieting. She was involved in a major anti-anorexia story during most of the second season.  She supported the C.R.M. and was yet another teenage social-political rebel.
  20. Leah's sister, Patricia (Trisha), had a brain tumour and was on chemo a lot. It was meant to tackle teen's health issues.

Leading plots and story lines

  2. Sacramento's Mayor, Jane Morrison, has to keep a fine line between local liberal ideas and a bullying Prefect. This was difficult because here rebellious daughter, Leah, was a covert D.R.M. movement member and computer hacker. This was supposed to tackle the issues of teenage rebellion, political oppression and and family breakdown.
    1. Sally Roads was Pinhead High School's stressed-out councillor. She was trying to balance the genuine need for school care, real psychology, treating student P.T.S.S. and the Japanese empire's political brainwashing.  Shauna O'Conner was a unloved I.T. teacher at Pinhead High School. She was caught between here job and political taboos and was beaten up in an episode for reluctantly denying Japanese and Chinese war crimes in 2095. They were yet more people with a job-morality-politics conflict ruining their lives.
    2. Sally's fashion conscious daughter, Marsha was addicted to hair-dyeing, trendy clothes and dieting. She was involved in a anti-anorexia story in the second season and a pro-C.R.M. rally at the local youth club in a episode of season 3. She was yet another teenage social-political rebel.
  3. The computer geek and D.R.M. operative Kate Black was a major cause of trouble for all the cast until she was shot by a LA electro-laser firing squad in the last episode.
  4. Susan (originally Steve) Smith struggles with her academia and Burnt-end High School even after tinting her hair blue. Her story-line covered the issues surrounding transsexual lifestyles under the harsh Japanese rule.
  5. Anna Macaulay was an un-assimilated American from Reno. Her story-lines warn of the social tensions between those who live in and outside of the occupation zone. At one point, Sheila forces her to were a kimono to school in 2 episodes as a prank.
  6. Sheila is a erudite descendant of the CyberClub and the story's protagonist.
  7. Katie Ping was a conscience stricken and geeky Chinese settler's child. This related to the fact that many of the children did not like what there parents were getting up to.
  8. Sorsha's daughter, Elle O'Conner had been expelled from primary school due to her A.D.H.D. He stories covered child-hood mental illness issues.
  9. Anna and Sheila were accidentally youthened from 18 to 14 and 17 to 8 respectively in a episode set in the Typeco Corp. Atomic Research Lab in L.A. It was a comedic and light hearted warning about the abuse of atomic technology.
  10. Kelly Saddler was orphaned on her 10th birthday and reluctantly put up for sail at the local slave market by her bankrupt granny. Sheila's family bought her for a modest sum and adopted her.
  11. Leah's sister, Patricia (Trisha), had a brain tumour and was on chemo a lot. It was meant to tackle teen's health issues. She died of cancer in the penultimate episode.
