Slobodan Milošević

He was born on August 20, 1941 in Požarevac, Serbia, and died on March 11, 2006, in The Hague) and had been both a Yugoslav and Serbian political leader, President of the Socialist Republic of Serbia as part of the Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia (existing between 1945-1992) and President of Serbia as part of the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia in 1989-1997 and Federal President of the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia in 1997-2000. During the socialist Yugoslavia, one of the leaders of the Serbian League of Communists, after the breakup of the country together with some of the LKS activists, formed a nationalist party.
