Overview[]
The Warsaw Pact Rail is an unofficial name rail interface system commonly seen on Russian and former Soviet Union firearms. The mount is similar to a dovetail mount, however it is mounted on the left-side of the gun and its geometry (and thus mounting capacity) varies between models. There are multiple parts where attachments can be mounted, but usually only one can fit at a time. Russian firearms with the 'N' suffix almost always have this mount attached.
